Who Are We (An Opinion): By Ajaz Ahmad

The People of Gilgit Baltistan are crying to annex with Pakistan or with Kashmir and there is group of People who wanted to annex with the Chinese Government and Indian Government. A Leader Nawaz Khan Naji the Member of Gilgit Baltistan Legislative Assembly introduced a new Ideology for the People of GB that from Kohistan to Gojal and from Gojal to Chitral have a distinct and separate identity/entity. He further elaborated that we the people of GB formerly known as Northern Areas of Pakistan have our own Languages (Shina, Balti, Burushaski, Khuwar and Wakhi), Culture, Race Geography, own History. We got Independence on 1st November 1947 from Dogra Raj and rule the state for next 15 days but we never annex with Pakistan. The signatories who signed the agreement with annexation with Pakistan were from Kashmir no single one from GB. First we should be accepted as a separate entity and give us our due rights then we will decide or to go with Pakistan, Kashmir, Independent state or Plebiscite.
We need a common name which represents the 10 districts of Gilgit Baltistan which almost covers 280, 00 miles; According to order of 2009 Northern Areas of Pakistan name has been changed to Gilgit Baltistan which is a disputed name which represent the two districts of GB other districts have been ignored. GB has 3 highest mountain ranges which are Himalayan Range, Karakoram Range and Hindukash Ranges in between the roof of the Tibet and Pamir. The area was once part of Jammu and Kashmir after Partition of subcontinent and war with India it was occupied by Pakistan but it is never described as Azad Kashmir but as the Northern Areas of Islamabad which rule it by proxy in 1850. There were three major Powers in the region Dogras, Sikhs, and British. They attacked first in Ladakh, then Baltistan and then Gilgit and at last Chitral and occupied the Place from 1850 to 1947.
We got independence by ourselves without any help from external factors. A group of Kashimiri People has decided our future to Pakistan who tried to demolish our rights by every means. We are not in constitution of Pakistan, we cannot cast a vote or stand for Parliament post in Pakistan, we cannot appeal to the supreme court of Pakistan, and we are just as foreigners. Actually it is completely mentioned in article 8 of the Agreement signed between Islamabad and the Government of Kashmir between Mushtaq Ahmad Ghormani, Minister without Portfolio and Government of Pakistan Sardar Muhammad Ibrahim President of Azad Kashmir and Choudhary Ghulam Abbas Head of Muslim Conference that the People of Gilgit Baltistan they to whom they have acceded. These Kashmiri Group and Agents of Pakistan has decided the future of People of Gilgit Baltistan and Put them in never ending slavery of state which never considered this disputed territory its Part.

INTRODUCTION TO LINGUISTICS: Case Study  . INTRODUCTION TO LINGUISTIC The scientific study of Languages with the analysis of language form, language meaning and language in the context is called Linguistics. Linguist analyze by the inter play between language and sound using the traditional ways. Linguists customarily break down human dialect by watching an exchange amongst sound and significance. Phonetics is the investigation of discourse and non-discourse sounds, and dives into their acoustic and articulatory properties. The investigation of dialect significance, then again, manages how dialects encode relations between substances, properties, and different parts of the world to pass on, process, and allocate importance, and additionally oversee and resolve equivocalness. While the investigation of semantics commonly worries about truth conditions, pragmatics manages how situational setting impacts the creation of importance. Syntax is an arrangement of standards which
